Pre-cooling
MRI Magnet Pre-Cooling
Controlled pre-cooling of magnet components before liquid helium filling, reducing thermal stress and helium consumption.
Why it matters: Lower helium cost and a safer, more predictable commissioning.
Services
Everything we do is aimed at one outcome: an imaging system that is available when the department needs it. Choose a service, or tell us the symptom and we will tell you what is involved.
MRI and cryogenic services
The cryogenic systems behind an MRI scanner decide whether it runs. These services protect the magnet, control helium use and keep cooling components healthy.

Pre-cooling
Controlled pre-cooling of magnet components before liquid helium filling, reducing thermal stress and helium consumption.
Why it matters: Lower helium cost and a safer, more predictable commissioning.

Helium
Liquid helium in cryogenic dewars and high-purity helium gas, with controlled on-site filling for MRI systems of all major brands.
Why it matters: Less helium lost, lower quench risk, more scanner uptime.

Cooling components
Maintenance, repair and replacement of the cold heads, compressors, absorbers and chillers that hold an MRI magnet at temperature.
Why it matters: Stable cooling, fewer surprises, longer component life.
Equipment and project services
Imaging equipment is installed, moved, refurbished and eventually replaced. We coordinate those stages so each one happens safely and on schedule.

Project management
End-to-end project management for MRI and cryogenic infrastructure: site assessment, system design, installation coordination and ongoing support.
Why it matters: One accountable team and minimal disruption to the department.

Equipment services
Professional de-installation, refurbishment and resale support for pre-owned MRI and CT systems. Cryotech also buys used imaging equipment.
Why it matters: Equipment leaves site intact, and surplus systems keep their value.
Project management
An MRI installation brings together site constraints, cryogenic infrastructure, RF shielding and several trades working to one sequence. A delay in one step holds up every other. We assess the site, plan the sequence, coordinate installation activity and stay involved after handover, so you deal with one team that keeps everyone informed.

Site requirements, constraints and project objectives are established first.
A solution planned around how the facility actually operates.
Activities are sequenced and progress monitored against the agreed standard.
Technical support and maintenance planning once the system is running.
De-installation
Careful, planned removal by an experienced engineering team.
Removing a scanner puts sensitive equipment and a working department at risk at the same time. Our engineers plan each de-installation in advance and follow a set sequence, so components are protected and the site is left in order.

Used equipment
When a scanner is replaced or no longer needed, it can still have value. Cryotech evaluates used medical imaging equipment and makes an offer based on the system, its condition and your requirements. We can also handle the de-installation, so the equipment leaves your site without disrupting your department.
Share the manufacturer, model, year and current status. We will come back to you with next steps.

Describe the system and the symptom. An engineer will tell you what is involved.
