Work on systems that cannot go down

Hospitals and diagnostic centres depend on the work we do. If you want hands-on engineering on MRI and cryogenic systems, we would like to hear from you.

The work

What the job actually is

Cryotech keeps MRI magnets cold and scanners running for hospitals, diagnostic centres and research facilities. The work is hands-on and on site: cryogenic transfers, cold head and compressor service, de-installation and commissioning.

  • 01

    Cryogenic engineering

Helium transfer, magnet pre-cooling and quench risk. The part of the job that cannot be learned from a manual alone.

  • 02

    Field service

Cold heads, compressors, absorbers and chillers, diagnosed and replaced on a live site with a department waiting.

  • 03

    Project coordination

Site assessment through installation and handover, including RF shielding and cryogenic infrastructure.
